67thVIRGINIA AND LARRY
HERBST of Plainview were married July 18, 1943, at St. Brigid's R.C. Church in Ridgewood. Larry is a retired aircraft inspector, World War II veteran and also a Knights of Columbus member. Virginia retired after 24 years as a jewelry saleswoman. They have five children, one of whom is deceased, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.

GLORIA AND JACK DANIELS of East Islip celebrated July 29 at a party with family and friends. Jack retired from Newsday in 1988 after 37 years. Gloria is a homemaker who volunteered many hours at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore. They have two children and two granddaughters.

JOSEPHINE AND JOHN
LOPICCOLO, residents of Glen Cove for 52 years, were married July 12, 1958. John was a minor league umpire for a Florida baseball league from 1956-58. He met and married Josephine in Sicily in 1958 then came back to Glen Cove to stay. John worked for the village of Great Neck for 33 years and also was a Little League manager and umpire at Glen Cove City stadium for 11 years. Josephine was a beautician for 25 years and also gave cooking lessons in her home. They have two sons and two granddaughters.

JOAN AND JACK NELSON of Holbrook were married June 18, 1960, at St. Francis de Sales Church in Manhattan. They renewed vows at St. Lawrence the Martyr Church in Sayville and celebrated with their family on a cruise to Bermuda. Jack retired from the New York City Fire Department. Joan was an administrative assistant. They have three daughters and eight grandchildren.

LOUISE AND JOHN SOLDO of Commack celebrated May 1 with a party at Larkfield Manor in East Northport. They have four children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

JANE AND DAN WELISCHAR of East Setauket celebrated July 2 with a two-week trip to Italy. Jane is a retired registered nurse. Dan retired from the New York City Fire Department. They have six children and 12 grandchildren.
