Nassau Common Core public meeting canceled

Critics of the Common Core curriculum are disappointed by the sudden cancelation of another forum on the controversial program.

Another public meeting was supposed to be held on the Common Core Monday in Nassau, but Newsday says it has been canceled and probably won't be held until after Jan. 1.

Hundreds of angry parents, teachers and school officials have spoken out against the test-based academic structure at every forum.
