Bethpage freshman Elizabeth Ferraro bowled a 1,285 series – including a 244 in Game 4 – to win the girls title, a year after finishing 10th in the tournament.

Shout-out to Carle Place’s Leanne Iannucci, who was in attendance to support her teammate Kadakia. Last year, Iannucci missed the tournament because of a weekend college recruiting visit. This year, her average just missed qualifying for individuals. Hey, she’s only an All-Long Island softball and field hockey player going to Cornell. She’s doing OK.
