Adrian Kim, January Scholar Artist

Adrian Kim, a senior studying at Plainview- Old Bethpage/JFK High School, has proven herself in every media she explores.  She doesn’t just master a technique or medium, she conquers it. Adrian is totally literate in her expressiveness and personal vision with a standard of excellence that surpasses most AP Studio art students.


One of Plainview’s top academic achievers, Adrian has won such honors as:  National Merit Scholar Finalist, Gold Medal in The National French Contest, and has participated in the Research Mentorship program at Stony Brook University.


Beginning at age six  Adrian was known to have carried a large anatomy encyclopedia around with her and this has influenced her life though Adrian’s passion for art will always be present. Her college plans include digital art and studio art classes with a double major in microbiology and computer science.
