Manhasset owns the longest winning streak in the state at 31 games. The Indians, the defending state Class C champions and currently ranked second in the nation by Inside Lacrosse, finished the regular season 15-0 with a 13-6 win over Seaford on Thursday. Canandaigua Academy, a Class B school from about 25 miles southeast of Rochester, had won 30 straight games before losing on May 6. Manhasset is the top seed for the Nassau Class C playoffs and has a bye into the semifinals against a team to be determined.

Farmingdale completed the Conference I season with a 10-0 record and the Dalers won their 26th league or conference title in school history. Farmingdale is 13-2 overall and will be the top seed for the eight-team Nassau Class A playoffs, which begin Thursday. A county championship would be the Dalers’ 13th.
