Nassau's bedbug fight goes on Web
Nassau County put a bedbug link on its website Tuesday.
"To help keep our residents healthy, we have joined the fight to take the bugs out of beds," said Nassau County Executive Edward Managano.
His administration has joined with Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice in forming a Nassau County Bed Bug Task Force, which will hold a workshop on Thursday at the Freeport Recreation Center.
A 2 p.m. session is for property managers, landlords, housing inspectors and other professionals, and a 7 p.m. session is for tenants, homeowners and others.
