Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano Monday announced the 2012 “Welcome Back Warriors” All-Veterans Jobs and Support Services Fair to be held Tuesday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Nassau Community College’s Physical Education Complex.

“My administration is committed to creating economic development and private-sector job opportunities wherever possible,” he said, “[and] we must never forget the veterans who answered our nation’s call to duty and fought to defend our nation’s freedom.”

Mangano was joined by Mineola’s Winthrop-University Hospital chief executive John Collins, and the community college’s general counsel Chuck Cutolo. All three represent sponsor organizations.

Dozens of companies will be there with job opportunities, along with experts who can help applicants improve job-hunting skills and understand the G.I. Bill and other services for returning veterans.

For more information on how to participate, contact the Nassau County Veterans Service Agency, 516-572-6565.
