Matt Segal had eight receptions for 95 yards and two TDs to lead Port Washington to a 14-11 win over Great Neck North Saturday in Nassau V football. James Burns went 14-for-20 for 145 yards and two TDs for Port Washington (5-1). GNN is 2-4.
Jericho 27, Great Neck South 14: Josh Harris had 118 rushing yards on four carries, including an 89-yard TD run to open the scoring 3:22 into the game, and also caught a 6-yard TD pass in the second quarter to lead Jericho (5-1) over Great Neck South (1-5).Long Island Lutheran 35, Friends Academy 8: Tiquan Garner had 191 yards on 24 carries and three TDs to lead Long Island Lutheran (6-0). Devante Moore had four carries for 89 yards and a score. Moore's 80-yard TD run with 3:48 left in the game capped the scoring. Matt Borer had eight tackles and a fumble recovery and John Martone added seven tackles and a sack. Friends Academy is 3-3.Roslyn 41, St. Dominic 12: Paul Rogofsky went 8 of 11 for 231 yards and two TDs to lead Roslyn (2-4). Isaiah Hunter had three receptions for 117 yards and a TD and also had an interception. Chris Snipes had seven carries for 69 yards and a touchdown and Brian Katz ran eight times for 71 yards and two TDs. St. Dominic is 0-6.
