Nassau village meetings this week
Several village meetings will take place in Nassau County this week, including:
* Great Neck Plaza will hold its meeting at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Village Hall, 2 Gussack Plaza. There will be a vote on the village’s 2011-12 budget and salary schedule.
* Kensington will hold its meeting at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Village Hall, 2 Nassau Dr., Great Neck. Officials will discuss erecting two new single-family houses in the village.
* Mineola will hold its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Village Hall, 155 Washington Ave.
* North Hills will hold its meeting at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Village Hall, 1 Shelter Rock Rd.
* Island Park will hold its meeting at 8 p.m. Thursday at Village Hall, 127 Long Beach Rd.
