Nassau vs. Suffolk in the semis

Two Long Island vs. Long Island matches headline the semifinals. At 132 pounds, reigning (120-pound) state champion Haley Gonzales of Hicksville will face No. 4 Caitlin Maragioglio of Bellport. Gonzales defeated Maragioglio by technical fall in December.

There will be a rematch of the Eastern States Classic final at 235 pounds between No. 2 Naomi Gonzalez of Valley Stream North and No. 3 Sydney Fisher of Bay Shore.

Fisher trailed 13-7 in the quarterfinals before pinning Lockport's Ava Bragg in 3:56. Gonzalez pinned Zoey White (Dundee) in 21 seconds to advance to the semifinals. Fisher pinned Gonzalez in 2:57 for the Eastern States title in January.
