Christian Bale visits Colorado shooting victims

AURORA, Colo. -- Batman star Christian Bale visited victims of the shooting at a theater showing "The Dark Knight Rises."

Warner Bros. said Bale is representing himself, not the studio. Janie Bowman-Hayes, assistant vice president at Swedish Medical Center, said she and co-workers were at The Medical Center of Aurora to thank staff. "When we got there, then we found out he was there," she said, adding that he just wanted to thank the workers. -- AP
