Colorado lawmakers get requests for Caylee law
Colorado lawmakers say they're being deluged with emails and letters asking them to make it a crime for failing to report the death of a child within one hour.
The proposed legislation in Colorado and other states is being proposed after Casey Anthony failed to report her daughter missing.
Anthony was indicted on first-degree murder charges following the 2008 death of Caylee and she was acquitted last week.
Rep. Daniel Kagan, a Denver Democrat who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, tells KDVR-TV that people are upset about what happened in Florida, and very anxious that such a thing never happen in Colorado.
