Cops: 2 shot dead in murder-suicide at Florida school

Authorities say two adults are dead following an apparent murder-suicide at a Jacksonville high school.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Melissa Bujeda says officers responded to reports of a person with a gun at Episcopal High School Tuesday afternoon. While officers were en route, they began to receive additional calls about shots being fired.

When officers arrived, they found one dead adult, followed by another. That second person is believed to have been the shooter.

Neither dead person was immediately identified, but authorities say no students were injured. Parents were allowed to pick up their children.

School officials didn't immediately return calls for comment.
