Dangerous roads report
Long Island is home to half of the region's 10 most dangerous roads for pedestrians, including Hempstead Turnpike in Nassau County, which remains the most dangerous thoroughfare for the past five years, according to a new Tri-State Transportation Campaign report released Monday.
