Dee Snider of Twisted Sister doesn't want Republican vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan playing his music on the campaign trail, Talking Points Memo reports:

"Rock singer Dee Snider is incensed with Paul Ryan for playing his 1984 hit 'We're Not Gonna Take It' as his intro music at a Pennsylvania rally on Tuesday.

"I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan's use of my band Twisted Sister's song, 'We're Not Gonna Take It,' in any capacity," Snider, a Baldwin native, told TPM in a statement relayed by his manager Tuesday. "There is almost nothing he stands for that I agree with except the use of the P90X [workout regime]."

Brendan Buck, a spokesman for Ryan, emailed this response: "We're Not Gonna Play It anymore."

Snider is the second rocker to lash out at Ryan recently. Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello took issue with the congressman's love of his band's music last week.
