BERLIN — In a story published Jan. 4, 2025, about German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s reaction to Elon Musk’s comments about him and German elections, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Scholz is the leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. He is a member of the party.
