JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — In a story published July 31, 2024, about the former head of a north Florida public utility who was sentenced to four years in prison for a scheme to privatize the authority which prosecutors said would have enriched him and his associates by tens of millions of dollars at the expense of taxpayers, The Associated Press erroneously reported the name of the utility. It is JEA, not the Jacksonville Electric Authority.
