LA jury reaches verdict in Anna Nicole Smith trial

A jury has reached a verdict in the Anna Nicole Smith drug conspiracy trial.
The jury will announce verdicts at 1:30 p.m. PDT Thursday for the former Playboy model’s boyfriend and two doctors. The defendants have pleaded not guilty to conspiracy, excessive prescribing of opiates and sedatives to an addict, and fraudulently obtaining drugs by using false names.
Smith’s longtime boyfriend-lawyer Howard K. Stern, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich are not charged in Smith’s 2007 overdose death.
