TENNESSEE: 5 bikers found dead in RV

Five bikers were found dead Sunday in a recreational vehicle at the Clarksville Speedway and an organizer for the motorcycle festival blamed fumes from a generator. Three men and two women were found in the RV and there was no sign of foul play, police said. Bill Langford, the director of the event Bikers Who Care, said the group was close-knit and he was friends with those who died. He identified them as a married couple with 8-month-old twins, the man a truck driver, his wife a schoolteacher. Another couple also died as well as a co-worker of one of the men. All were from the Clarksville area, 40 miles northwest of Nashville. It appeared a small storage hatch on the RV did not close properly, allowing fumes from the generator to leak in, Langford said.
