New York Times Co. CEO Robinson to step down

Sulzberger is currently chairman of the company and publisher of its flagship New York Times newspaper.
Robinson, 61, became CEO in 2004. She said she leaves the company with mixed emotions after working at the paper for 28 years. She also expressed pride for helping the paper navigate the transition from traditional print journalism to the digital world.
Robinson will serve as a consultant for one year.
The company is initiating a search for a new chief executive.
