SALEM, Ore. — In a story published June 14, 2023, about a Republican walkout at the Oregon Senate, The Associated Press erroneously reported that in 1924, GOP senators in New Hampshire fled to Rutland, Massachusetts, and stayed away for six months. The senators were from Rhode Island.
