CHICAGO — In a story published July 30, 2023, about how farmers are adapting their livestock for heat stress, The Associated Press erroneously reported that more than a third of greenhouse gas emissions came from farm animals. More than a third of greenhouse gas emissions, or 35%, come from the food sector.
