Porn star as prom date? Minn. district says no

A Minnesota teen who was hoping to bring a porn actress to his prom will have to find a new date.

Mike Stone of Tartan High School in Oakdale tweeted a series of porn stars asking if any would be his prom date. Megan Piper tweeted the 18-year-old back, saying she'd love to be his date as long as he paid for her flight from California.

But district superintendent Patty Phillips said Piper won't be allowed to attend. She says the school's policies include a caveat that denies guests whose visits are "not in the best interest of students, employees or the school district."

Neither Stone nor Piper immediately responded to messages from the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
