WASHINGTON — In a story published Nov. 13, 2024, about Republicans winning control of the House, The Associated Press erroneously reported that when Donald Trump was elected president in 2016 and took office in January 2017, the Supreme Court had a liberal majority. The court was ideologically divided at that time.
