DENVER — In a story published Nov. 15, 2023, about arguments in a lawsuit to bar former President Donald Trump from the ballot, The Associated Press misquoted a word in an attorney’s closing argument. Sean Grimsley said: “The rule of law must apply whether a candidate has no chance of winning an election or is a potential front-runner,” not “The rule of law must apply whether a candidate has no choice of winning an election or is a potential front-runner.”
