WASHINGTON — In a story published March 13, 2025, The Associated Press reported about Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s plans to cut 10,000 workers. This story has been updated to clarify that the voluntary early retirement program being used to make the job cuts was announced in January and is not a result of the agreement with the Department of Government Efficiency.
