World’s tallest man may have stopped growing
Thanks to treatment by researchers at the University of Virginia Medical Center, the world’s tallest man may have reached his peak.
Measuring at 8-feet-3 inches, 29-year-old Sultan Kosen of Turkey is listed in the 2011 Guinness World Records at the tallest living man.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that Kosen was placed on a new medication that could potentially help control the production of growth hormone and stop his continued growth.
According to university officials, doctors in Turkey say Kosen has stopped growing.
