Former Knick Jeremy Lin had 38 points and seven assists Monday night in his best game as a Rocket, but Gary Neal scored 29 points and Tony Parker had a triple-double to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 134-126 overtime victory in Houston.

Parker had 27 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists to complement Neal's 7-for-10 shooting from three-point range.

Lin shot 11 of 21 from the floor, including 4-for-5 from three-point range, and 10-for-10 from the line. His 38 points tied his career high set with the Knicks Feb. 10 in a win over the Lakers.

"I'm thankful that I was able to get comfortable out there," Lin said, "but that's definitely secondary to the fact that we blew another close game. I had the ball to win it [in regulation] and didn't even get a shot up. That one hurt."

Lin had to shoot more as the Rockets were without leading scorer James Harden, sidelined by a sprained right ankle. Former Knick Toney Douglas added 17 points for the Rockets, his fourth straight game with double-digit scoring.

The win was the fifth straight for San Antonio (18-4) and second in three days over Houston (9-11).

Warriors 104, Bobcats 96: Stephen Curry had 27 points, seven assists and seven rebounds to lead Golden State over host Charlotte. Curry shot 10-for-22 from the field in his eighth straight 20-point game, a career best. David Lee had 25 points and 11 rebounds for coach Mark Jackson's Warriors (14-7), who have won seven of eight. Kemba Walker scored 24 points to lead the Bobcats (7-13), who have lost eight straight. Owner Michael Jordan took a seat at the end of the Bobcats' bench but could not spark the team.

Heat 101, Hawks 92: LeBron James scored 27 points and Dwyane Wade had 26 for the Heat (14-5), which pulled away in the second half to beat Atlanta (12-6) in Miami. James (10-for-16) and Wade (11-for-13, the best single-game shooting percentage of his career) made 21 of 29 shots for Miami, which shot 58 percent. Chris Bosh added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat.

Mavericks 119, Kings 96: Six players scored in double figures for host Dallas (11-10), led by O.J. Mayo, who had 19 points. The Mavs took control in the first half with a 31-3 run. Francisco Garcia and DeMarcus Cousins each scored 25 points for Sacramento (7-13).

76ers 104, Pistons 97: Jrue Holiday scored 25 points and Evan Turner had 18 points for host Philadelphia (12-9). Detroit is 7-16.-- AP
