New City runners complete half-marathon
Three runners from New City were among the fastest 1,700 competitors to complete More Magazine/Fitness Magazine Women's Half-Marathon.
Eszter Friedman, 41, completed the race in 1 hour, 59 minutes and 25 seconds; Lisa Rosenfeld, 44, completed the race in 2:01:36; and Erica Wolff, 24, clocked 2:02:23.
More Magazine/Fitness Magazine Women's Half-Marathon took place on Sunday, April 15. A total of 7,088 runners finished the 13.1 mile race through Central Park.
More Magazine/Fitness Magazine Women's Half-Marathon is the largest women's-only half-marathon in the country. It attracts women from all 50 states.
Alemtsehay Misganaw, of New York, was the overall winner with a time of 1:13:25.
