New film for 'Vampire' star Somerhalder

While "The Vampire Diaries" is on hiatus -- we're still recovering from that crazy May 16 finale -- Ian Somerhalder isn't just on summer vacation. Fans of those amazing baby blues can look forward to seeing Ian on the big screen in "The Anomaly," and we might as well just buy our movie tickets now. According to HollywoodLife.com's sister site, Deadline, the film is an original action thriller that follows the efforts of a traumatized ex-soldier who wakes up in the back of a van, alongside a kidnapped boy, to find that he only has nine minutes and 37 seconds of consciousness to work out why and how he got there.
