A new health clinic for military veterans has opened at the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.

The new Veterans Affairs Clinic features a triage center, 14 exam rooms and doctors designated to treat Nassau’s estimated 120,000 veterans, according to County Executive Edward Mangano.

Mangano, who announced the clinic’s official grand opening last week, said he moved the county’s Veterans Service Agency to the medical center to be near the clinic, making the location “a one-stop shop for our heroes.”
