New outrage over plan to post student records online

There is new outrage over a plan to post student records online after a security breach in Sachem.

Common Core standards require the state to put more student information online, including transcripts, absences and even suspensions.

Education Commissioner John King promised state lawmakers at an upstate hearing that the information would be encrypted.

King said it'll only be accessible to parents with a "unique password."

However, some lawmakers say security breaches about absences or discipline could hurt kids.

A few weeks ago, the names of 15,000 students were somehow leaked online.

NYC parents are already suing King over the online info.
