Those who have wearied of the leathery "cashmere" scents that dominated the fall may welcome the sparkling new olfactory cocktail just released by Issey Miyake. Less green than Miyake's well-known L'Eau d'Issey, Pleats Please is an effulgent peony and sweet pea floral with a top note of nashi, a Japanese apple-pear. Perfumer Aurélien Guichard has managed to balance all the prettiest notes of "sophisticated" and "sweet" in Miyake's latest bouquet. Pleats Please eau de toilette, $66 (1.6 oz.) or $92 (3.3 oz.); at Issey Miyake, 119 Hudson St., 212-226-0100 (Sheila Anne Feeney)
