New supergroup combines New Kids, Backstreet Boys

New Kids on the Block, the biggest boy band of the late-'80s/early '90s, and the Backstreet Boys, the biggest boy band of the late-'90s/early '00s, are joining forces to form NKOTBSB, a supergroup set to tour next year.

Though details are still sketchy, the groups are expected to perform together as a single unit for at least part of the shows. They will make their debut at the American Music Awards on Nov. 21.

Tour dates will be announced Monday.
