5-year-old child, man killed in crash on George Washington Bridge, officials say
A 5-year-old and a man were killed and three other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night on the George Washington Bridge, officials said.
Authorities said an sport utility vehicle crashed into the back of a box truck Wednesday night on the upper level of the bridge.
Officials have not released the names of the two people who died. They said the other three victims suffered minor injuries. All five were in the SUV, authorities said.
The crash remains under investigation.
