12-year-old Queens boy goes missing on walk home from school

Police are searching for a young Queens boy who went missing on his walk home from school Tuesday afternoon.

The boy, 12-year-old Gerardo Ramos, was last seen walking home from IS 204 on 28th Street around 3 p.m. Police describe him as 5'1" tall, 105 lbs, brown eyes and with short black hair, and he was last seen wearing brown coat, grey sweater, blue jeans, and blue and grey sneakers. He reportedly has no history of running away.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or to submit tips at the Crime Stoppers website.
