15 arrested in gambling ring crackdown
Federal authorities say 15 people, including a police detective and two firefighters, have been arrested in connection with a New York City gambling ring.
They’re accused of running illegal card games on Staten Island.
Other defendants include a retired police sergeant and a retired firefighter.
The defendants are expected to appear in Brooklyn federal court on Thursday.
