A 16-year-old Brooklyn girl allegedly dumped acid on the head of her chemistry-lab classmate in a failed bid to blind her, according to reports.

Zhanna Smsarian was released on $7,500 bail after being hit with attempted assault and other charges in the horrifying attack Wednesday on Albina Eshimbaeva, 15, at Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, reports said.

She "was trying to burn Eshimbaeva's eyes out," according to documents quoted by the Daily News.

Smsarian allegedly used diluted hydrochloric acid to attack Eshimbaeva, and the weakened solution spared the victim from losing her sight, according to reports.

The dispute stemmed from Eshimbaeva’s pursuit of a mutual 22-year-old male friend, one report said, an account the victim dismissed.

“She should be brought to justice," Eshimbaeva told the Post.
