18 students treated for pepper spray at Bronx high school: Officials

Eighteen people were treated in an incident involving pepper spray at a Bronx school, with 13 hospitalized, officials said.
Seventeen students and one adult were treated after pepper spray was released at In-Tech Academy on Tibbett Avenue around 11 a.m., according to the FDNY. Thirteen students were taken to Montefiore Medical Center for treatment and the other were treated at the school, but all the injuries were minor, the FDNY said.
Police didn't know how the substance was released, and said they don't have any details about a suspect, according to officials. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
