Two men were killed in Chelsea's Fulton Houses Monday morning in a murder-suicide, according to the NYPD.
Kenneth Waldron, 29, was found dead at 413 West 16th Street with a gunshot wound to the head, along with Brandon Romero, 20, who was found with gunshot and stab wounds, police said. Romero was taken to Beth Israel Hospital in critical condition, where he later died.
The incident occurred just after 11 a.m., when Jamie Cruz and her cousin, Romero, went to the apartment where Waldron, Cruz's ex-boyfriend, lived, according to NY1.
Waldron and Romero got into a fight while Cruz was in a back room, and Waldron stabbed then shot Romero before shooting himself, NY1 reported. Cruz escaped unharmed.
