Police on Thursday released photos of two men they say brutally attacked a 60-year-old man in a Brighton Beach subway station Wednesday.
The two men, in their late teens to early 20s, attacked the man at 1 p.m. at the Ocean Parkway Q train station as he walked past them sitting on a staircase to a northbound platform. The two men grabbed the victim's legs from behind, threw him down and punched and kicked him. The muggers took off with the man's cellphone, heading west on West Brighton Avenue.
The man was taken to Coney Island Hospital for minor injuries.
