A 2-year-old girl survived a five-story tumble to the sidewalk yesterday after falling out of an open window that didn't have guards, according to police.
The girl, Xania Samuels, fell from the fifth floor of her home at 3230 Cruger Ave. in the Bronx about 11:30 a.m. She was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was stable, police said.
Police said her parents probably won't be charged with a crime, but that the case is under investigation. City law requires window guards where young children live.
