3 slashed, injured at Union Square subway station, NYPD says
Police are looking for suspects after three people were slashed and injured in the Union Square subway station.
They say a dispute between two groups of men that began outside the station around 5 a.m. Friday continued inside the 14th Street station.
Police say one person was slashed on the face, another sustained injuries to the forehead and a third was stabbed in the back.
Fire officials say they were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call the Crime Stopper hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
