If you're a regular No. 7 train rider, you're in for a long winter.
The MTA is shutting shut down service on the line between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square every weekend from Dec. 28 through March 25, the agency said.
The shutdowns will begin at 11:45 p.m. Friday and last until 5 a.m. Monday each weekend, during which crews will perform signal, tunnel and track maintenance in the Steinway Tunnel, according to the MTA. Service will also be down from 11:45 p.m. Jan 14 through 5 a.m. Jan 15, as well as on President's Day, Feb. 18.
Free shuttle buses will run between the Vernon Blvd.-Jackson Ave. station and Queensboro Plaza, where straphangers can catch the N or the Q train on the Astoria line.
Q service will be extended to Ditmars Blvd. on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
