Cops are hunting for a creep who allegedly raped an elderly woman in Central Park Wednesday morning in broad daylight.
The 73-year-old woman was hospitalized Wednesday after being violently assaulted in the Strawberry Fields section of the park at around 11:50 a.m., officials said. She had "extensive injuries" to her right eye and nose, according to a police spokesman, who said the injuries were not life-threatening.
The woman told investigators she may have previously seen her attacker a few days ago, when she took a picture of him as he was inappropriately touching himself in the park, police said.
The perv allegedly swiped the senior's camera and bag, which had her wallet in it, according to reports. An NYPD spokeswoman couldn't confirm the theft Wednesday night.
Cops released photos of the suspect Wednesday night, showing him wearing a backpack and carrying another bag in his left hand.
