A-Rod hits first HR of season
Alex Rodriguez Sunday launched his first homer since returning to the lineup last week, a solo shot in the second inning off the Tigers' Justin Verlander at Yankee Stadium.
The third baseman, batting cleanup for the Yankees, last week appealed the 211-game suspension handed down by Major League Baseball.
