A-Rod's spokesman denies reported defense strategy

Alex Rodriguez’s spokesman Ron Berkowitz issued a statement yesterday morning denying a newspaper report that claimed Rodriguez’s defense would be that he thought Biogenesis was providing him with legal supplements.
Rodriguez is appealing a 211-game suspension issued by Major League Baseball on Aug. 5. The ban is part of the league’s investigation into a now-closed anti-aging clinic in Miami founded by Anthony Bosch.
