Jilted Hugh Hefner got his revenge in classic Playboy fashion — using the cover of the mag to send a message to the world.

In a sort-of-funny, sort-of-vindictive move, Hef  took matters into his own hands after being dumped five days before his wedding by No. 1 girlfriend Crystal Harris and slapped a giant sticker on the cover of this month’s Playboy that says “Runaway Bride” over Crystal’s picture.

Before Harris dumped Hef, he agreed to give her the July cover with the headline “Introducing Mrs. Crystal Hefner.”

“Recent events call for a special sticker on the July cover,” he tweeted yesterday. “Look for it on newsstands.”

Clearly, Hef, 85, isn’t as cool with the split as Harris made him out to be. The 25-year-old went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Wednesday and claimed Hef was only getting married because she wanted to and that they’re both “relieved” the relationship is over.
