The U.S. Open referee who allegedly beat her husband to death with a coffee mug was scheduled to return home Thursday to face her murder charge.

A Manhattan judge OK'd the extradition of Lois Ann Goodman, 70, and she was set to fly back to Los Angeles where she has been charged with the murder of her 80-year-old husband, Alan Goodman.

"She may be back here in court sometime in the afternoon," an LAPD spokeswoman said.

Alan Goodman was found dead inside the couple's home in April. His death was ruled a homicide two weeks ago.
