Actress Nicole Kidman toppled by reckless paparazzo on bicycle

Nicole Kidman was rammed and knocked to the sidewalk by freelance photographer Carl Wu, who pedaled a bike right into her outside the Carlyle Hotel Thursday afternoon, TMZ.com reported.

An NYPD spokesman confirmed that a 19-year-old man was held by hotel security guards after knocking a 49-year-old white female to the ground on his bicycle Thursday around 3:55 p.m. The spokesman would not confirm names. The guards flagged down cops, who took the man to the 19th Precinct, where he was issued summonses for riding a bike on a sidewalk, riding a bike without a helmet and reckless driving, and then released.

A Kidman rep did not respond to a comment request by amNY's deadline.
